The kitchen is open every day from 10.00 in the morning to 10.00 at night in our cosy and attractive brasserie and terrace. The brasserie itself is open from 7.00 am to 11.00 pm.
We always have fresh daily menu suggestions to offer, ranging from a snack to a full à la carte dinner. The tempting daily set menu is available for a very reasonable price and consists of soup, main course with a choice of meat or fish, and dessert. You’ll be amazed and delighted by the chef’s creative flair. There is an extensive 3-course menu to choose from every Sunday.
A separate reception and dining room can be reserved for family parties or other events. We will be most happy to discuss the many possibilities and culinary options with you. You could also hold a meeting here, while we serve you with any drinks and snacks you may need.
Hotel Pax is centrally located and easy to get to, making it the perfect venue for business or pleasure.
Sit out on the terrace or on the veranda to enjoy your drinks and food from both the light meals and main restaurant menu. Naturally we have a range of thirst-quenching traditional beers and the jenever that Hasselt is famous for. Then there’s tea and coffee, served with a beautifully made snack or pastry if you would like. During the warmer months and when the weather is fine, the terrace makes a great place to relax for a while when you’re out on a stroll through town.
The National Jenever Museum tells you everything you need to know about Belgian jenever. Or there’s the fashion museum, the literature museum, the Heilige Paterke or the ‘Stadsmus’. There’s so much to do and see in Hasselt, with its art, theatre and music. The town’s main street and tiny alleyways are filled with little shops, fashion boutiques and chain stores. There are two markets each week (Tuesday and Friday), plus a regular antiques and secondhand goods market (Saturday mornings).
